Thereâ€™s been another apparent UFO sighting in China. This time, bystanders from Minquin County captured it on camera. Whatever it was, the object left behind a trail making it look like a tadpole in the night sky. The clip was shared by NowThis on their Instagram handle. A calm waterbody can be seen underneath the beautiful sky. In the sky, a bright white UFO or unidentified flying object is flying. It can be hard to believe UFO sightings when they're reported and filmed by random people who live by themselves in the middle of nowhere. But when they're filmed by NASA, it's a whole different ball game. 
 
This black object was filmed by a camera aboard the International Space Station for 22 minutes before it moved above the camera's range. Allegedly the object was bus-sized.
 
The UFO bears a striking resemblance to the Black Knight Satellite, an object that some people believe is of extra-terrestrial origins, and has been orbiting Earth for thousands of years. Of course, all of this is just conjecture, but the object was interesting enough for ISS crew to film it for 22 minutes. 
 
"It appears to be going up because it's on a slightly different trajectory as it goes around the Earth," Aren commented. That makes sense, and points to the object being some sort of satellite or even space debris. 
 
"This is some old footage of a hatch cover that floated away," davidandcricket suggested. While that is a possibility, I was unable to find any version of this footage posted before this year. 
 
The ISS is obviously a state-of-the-art operation, and it's frustrating to see its cameras suffer from the standard dip in fidelity when filming UFOs. We'll chock this one up to a satellite.

A second planet has been found in the habitable zone of a star just 100 light-years from our solar system.

Discovered in data from NASAâ€™s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, the planet orbits a star called TOI 700, a red dwarf star in the constellation Dorado.

TOI 700 becomes one of very few star systems with multiple, small, habitable-zone planets that astronomers know of.

Red dwarf stars are cooler than stars like our Sun, but much more abundant in our Milky Way galaxy. Red dwarfs account for about 70% of all stars.

The new planet is called TOI 700 e and takes 28 days to orbit its star. About 95% Earthâ€™s size and likely rocky, it orbits in the habitable zone of the star, as does another planet called TOI 700 d, which orbits every 37 days.

A habitable zone around a star refers to an orbit thatâ€™s close enough to be warm enough allow liquid water on the surface. Thatâ€™s crucial because scientists believe life can only exist when liquid water is present.

â€œPlanet e is about 10% smaller than planet d, so the system also shows how additional TESS observations help us find smaller and smaller worlds, which makes the TOI 700 system an exciting prospect for additional follow up,â€� said Emily Gilbert, a postdoctoral fellow at NASAâ€™s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, who led the work and presented the findings at this weeks 241st meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Seattle. The same researchers also found TOI 700 d in 2020." - Forbes

"An ancient Japanese boulder that's 'Imprisoned a demon for 1,000 years' has mysteriously split in two with fear that dark forces have been unleashed.
 
The Sessho-seki aka The Killing Stone, is a volcanic rock that supposedly houses an evil spirit and sits on an active volcano in central Japan, not far from Tokyo.
 
According to Japanese mythology, the stone is believed to have hosted an evil spirit and be so powerful that it kills anyone who comes in contact with it
 
After the stone's split in two on March 5th, Japanese locals and online users have raised concerns of the stone continually spewing out poisonous gas.
 
The stone is believed to be the transformed body of Tamamo-no-Mae, a beautiful woman who was exposed as a nine-tailed fox working for an evil daimyÅ� plotting to kill Emperor Konoe and take his throne.
 
According to the otogi-zÅ�shi, when the nine-tailed fox was killed by the famous warrior Miura-no-suke, its body became the Sessho-seki.
 
Later, a Buddhist priest called Genno stopped for a rest near the stone and was threatened by the spirit of Tamamo-no-Mae.
 
Genno performed exorcism rituals and begged the spirit to consider her salvation. Tamamo-no-Mae relented and swore never to haunt the stone again.
 
Officials in the region said there had been a crack in the stone for some time and that rain and freezing temperatures may have led to the splitting of the stone.
 
Masaharu Sugawara, chairman of the Nasu Kogen Yumoto Guide Club, said: "It's natural, so it can't be helped but it's a shame because it's a symbol of the local area."

" A mystery is unfolding on Bell Mountain in Towns County after the bodies of twin brothers from Lawrenceville were discovered nearly 90 miles from home. 

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is initially treating the case as a murder-suicide, but the victims’ family is pushing back, saying that explanation doesn’t add up.

Qaadir and Naazir Lewis, both 19, were found shot to death Saturday morning by a hiker at the summit of Bell Mountain, near the North Carolina border. The discovery came as a shock to their family, who had believed the twins were in Boston visiting friends at the time.

“We want answers, we want to know exactly what happened to the twins,” their aunt, Samira Brawner, said.

The twins were inseparable, according to family members, and had no known history of conflict.

“They’re very protective of each other. They love each other,” their uncle Rahim Brawner said. “They’re like inseparable. I couldn’t imagine them hurting each other because I’ve never seen them get into a fistfight before.”

The family said the brothers had booked a flight to Boston for 7 a.m. last Friday but never made their flight. Just 24 hours later, they were found dead in an area the family said they had never visited before. " - 11alive News
