Matthew Exton walked into Sabira in Toledo back in April 2025 looking for his ex-wife and pulled out a loaded gun right at the table. He tried to fire point-blank but the safety was still on, which gave a waiter and a few other patrons just enough time to rush him and take him down. He tried to claim in court that he was just trying to pressure her over a home sale, but the jury wasn't buying it. He was just convicted of attempted murder and felonious assault.
