The "alien creature" conspiracy theorists on Twitter are running wild after a video appears to show an out-of-this-world figure walking near cop cars during an emergency response ... and we now have some answers as to what really went down. Here's the deal ... a growing conspiracy theory online suggests the massive police response on New Year's Day in Miami isn't what it seems. Folks are pointing to one specific piece of footage they say shows a strange figure moving near police cars. The person who posted the video says he zoomed in on some TikTok videos and claims he found a "gray creature." However, spokesperson for Miami PD tells TMZ … "What is seen on this clip is the shadow of someone walking. If you look at the bottom of the shadow, you can see the person. No creature." So that's that ... and as for how the whole thing started, folks thought the sheer number of police cars at the scene seemed to be way more than necessary. Cops were called to the shopping mall over a group of teens fighting, launching fireworks and causing chaos at the mall ... but there's reports some thought the fireworks was gunfire, which likely triggered the massive police response. UPS drivers reached a deal this year to raise their total compensation package to $170,000, including benefits.

The driver's viral post shocked thousands who were unaware of delivery drivers' pay.

Thousands of people are saying they might've chosen the wrong profession after seeing how much a UPS driver makes in a week.

Skyler Stutzman, an Oregon-based UPS delivery driver who posts to TikTok, has gotten over 11.9 million views on a video he posted in October.

In the clip, Stutzman showed a recent pay stub with his pre-tax earnings of $2,004 total for one week of work. After all the taxes and deductions, Skyler took home about $1,300 for 42 hours of work. At a pay rate of $44.26 per hour, many in the video's comments were shocked to learn that they earn less than a UPS driver.

A train transporting hazardous materials partially derailed Thursday in suburban Detroit, officials said.
 
The derailment occurred around 8:45 a.m. in the area of Huron River Drive between Martinsville and Haggerty roads in Van Buren Township, about 30 miles west of downtown Detroit, local police said.
 
Aerial footage showed at least six cars off the rails. The accident damaged the tracks and caused several sets of wheels to detach from the cars.

" Police identified a man wanted for allegedly choking a woman with a belt and raping her between two cars on a Bronx street last week.

Kashaan Parks, 39, who has five prior arrests, is the suspect sought in connection to the May 1 attack near 152nd Street and Third Avenue, according to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny.

The 45-year-old woman was walking down the street when a suspect came up from behind and looped the belt around her neck, the viral video shows. The man, who covered his face with a white towel, then used the belt to pull the passed-out woman several feet along the sidewalk and into the street between two parked cars, the video shows. Police said the suspect then raped her.

A possible prostitution deal may have sparked the violent assault, according to Kenny.

Peel Regional Police released stunning security camera video Wednesday showing a woman run over a man while allegedly stealing his Porsche SUV earlier this month in Mississauga.

That woman, now wanted for the vehicle theft and dangerous operation causing bodily harm, is captured on the video telling the man she's at his home to see the Porsche Cayenne. Police said she was responding to an Auto Trader ad, and the incident took place at around 2 p.m. on Sept. 6 in the Winston Churchill and Eglinton Avenue area.

She tells the man she's waiting for her dad, but asks to see the vehicle first. The doorbell camera captures a clear image of the suspect, who Peel Regional Police are still trying to identify. When the man moves behind the white SUV, the woman reverses hard and slams into him. The man disappears from view as the SUV races backward onto the street.

Somehow, he bounces up, though he holds his back as he confronts the woman through the window.

The video shared by police doesn't show the SUV driving away, but it was stolen, according to a news release.

Police are also looking for information about the drivers of two other SUVs — one that's silver-grey and one that's blue — in connection with the case.
