Multiple people were shot in downtown San Diego Monday night, Authorities confirmed to the station that five people were taken to area hospitals with serious wounds -- but apparently non-life-threatening wounds. Police were on the scene, interviewing witnesses. They fanned out seeking evidence such as shell casings, and were checking trashcans.
