Estep of Greenbelt guilty on Thursday of first-
degree murder for the shooting death of 16-year-
old Jericka Chambers in May 2010.
Estep faces life in prison without parole and is
scheduled for sentencing in October.
Estep and Chambers were reportedly arguing over
tattoo ink at the time of the incident.
"Mr. Estep pulled out a weapon, a 380 caliber, and
shot Jericka Chambers in the head," said Ramon
Korionoff, the Chief of Staff to Prince Georges
County States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks.
At least two people witnessed the incident and
testified at the trial. Estep said he was not near
the area at the time of the shooting.' - 9 News
