Dope: The Capabilities Of Google Lens Seem Endless!

Google I/O is underway and the first announcements are starting to trickle in. The first new product is a feature called Google Lens, which will work with Google Assistant. Lens is sort of like Google Goggles, but much more powerful and useful.

As you can see in the example above, Lens can scan businesses in real life and show you information and reviews from Google. It can also scan things like flowers and tell you what kind it is. Basically, it’s a better version of Samsung Bixby Vision. Google Assistant can now see what you see, which is very helpful. Lens will start rolling out to Assistant and Google Photos soon.
