The 28-year-old chimpanzee, named Vanilla, left her new enclosure in Florida to see a brand new scenery shes never seen. Vanilla was greeted with a hug by a fellow chimpanzee, Dwight, as she left her enclosure. Vanilla spent much of her life in small cages in a now-closed research lab in New York. After the lab, she was transferred to a California sanctuary where she was kept inside a chain-link fence cage. That cage allegedly had no grass and no enriching environment.

Hundreds of people on Sunday stormed into the main airport in Russia’s Dagestan region and onto the landing field to protest the arrival of an airliner from Tel Aviv, Israel, Russian news agencies and social media reported.
 
Authorities closed the airport in Makhachkala, the capital of the predominantly Muslim region, and police converged on the facility. There were no immediate reports of injuries or arrests.
 
Russian news reports said people in the crowd were shouting antisemitic slogans and tried to storm the airliner belonging to Russian carrier Red Wings.
 
Video on social media showed some in the crowd on the landing field waving Palestinian flags, protesters attempting to overturn a police car and others checking the passports of passengers who had arrived in Makhachkala.

A Texas middle school teacher has been removed from the classroom after she was filmed removing her face mask and intentionally exhaling over a cornered student - before shouting 'I don't care' as the child tried to get away.

The student is seen covering her face with her hand as the unmasked teacher breathes over her during an altercation at Mead Middle School in Houston. 
 
The Aldine Independent School District requires face coverings for all students and staff. It's one of 19 independent Texas school districts that have sued Gov. Greg Abbott over his ban on school-wide mask mandates. 
 
The scarlet-haired educator approaches the student and corners her against the wall, as seen on two separate videos. 
 
'Shut up,' the teacher tells the masked girl. 'First of all, don't get it twisted.' 
 
The student holds her hand up to her face as the unmasked teacher breaths on her. 
 
'I don't care. I don't care,' the teacher says while breathing out frantically. 
 
'Get out of my face,' the student replies, to which the teacher says, 'Make me.' 
 
At one point, the student argues: 'That's why your breath smells,' prompting giggles from the class. 
 
'You want me to leave your class or not?' the cornered student asks twice.

" A mystery is unfolding on Bell Mountain in Towns County after the bodies of twin brothers from Lawrenceville were discovered nearly 90 miles from home. 

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is initially treating the case as a murder-suicide, but the victims’ family is pushing back, saying that explanation doesn’t add up.

Qaadir and Naazir Lewis, both 19, were found shot to death Saturday morning by a hiker at the summit of Bell Mountain, near the North Carolina border. The discovery came as a shock to their family, who had believed the twins were in Boston visiting friends at the time.

“We want answers, we want to know exactly what happened to the twins,” their aunt, Samira Brawner, said.

The twins were inseparable, according to family members, and had no known history of conflict.

“They’re very protective of each other. They love each other,” their uncle Rahim Brawner said. “They’re like inseparable. I couldn’t imagine them hurting each other because I’ve never seen them get into a fistfight before.”

The family said the brothers had booked a flight to Boston for 7 a.m. last Friday but never made their flight. Just 24 hours later, they were found dead in an area the family said they had never visited before. " - 11alive News
