A Conversation with White Supremacy is a poetic parody and candid conversation between a black man and the personification of a system that has plagued his humanity generationally. The black man is seeking an answer to a question he deems important as he is reflective of his own blackness – what do I have to do to be seen as human in this white supremacy system? The response shocked him. He found himself in a position realizing, that the mere seeking of this answer disguises his own enslavement. White supremacy reveals to him that his own limitations are a result of the conditions of the mind and the reality is he, the black man, is already able to own his humanity – he just has to continue to wake up and rely on independency. White supremacy shows the times the black man has depended on “the systemâ€, it has come back and bitten him. The N word is used as art in this piece and not intended to be insensitive towards the history behind it.
