Channel 5 reports "LA VERGNE, Tenn. - A Middle Tennessee man could face federal hate crime charges after he was videotaped making a racial slur.

A neighbor in La Vergne videotaped a confrontation between Tim Taylor and Mark Winker on Friday.

Winkler is heard on the video yelling racial slurs. At one point, he showed a gun to threaten Taylor, a neighborhood handyman who is black.
