The holdup happened about 8:30 p.m. Monday at Subway, said Det. Michael Jeffries. The two men - both black males who appeared to be in their 20s - entered the stored with their faces covered.


One of the robbers was brandishing an AK-47 rifle, and the other a black handgun. The store worker was struck in the head with a gun, and the suspects got away with $1,380 from the register.
