DETROIT (AP) — A man survived after plunging 150 feet (45.7 meters) into the Detroit River from a bridge connecting Michigan and Canada. The man, identified as a contractor who was working on the Ambassador Bridge, was rescued Wednesday by a crew aboard a Detroit mail delivery boat. “The force of the impact had ripped most of his clothes off of him,” Sam Buchanan, captain of the J.W. Westcott, told Fox 2 Detroit. “His work boots were still on him and his pants were around his ankles and he had his T-shirt on. Buchanan said the man was ferried to shore where Detroit paramedics took over. “We were relieved that he could talk to us, but he was pretty out of it,” Buchanan said. “He kept asking us what happened to him and we told him that he fell off the bridge.”Detroit Fire Chief James Harris said people who were fishing saw the man in the water and alerted the J.W. Detroit Woman Lets Off Shots Into Another Woman's Car At A Liquor Store Parking Lot!

"The number of missing and runaway children in Ohio for 2023 is nearly double that of states with similar populations, sparking panic among parents and police who in some towns can't keep up with the number of teenagers running away. 

In this month alone, 45 children have been reported missing in the Cleveland area. 

They join the total number of 1,072 who have been reported missing since the start of the year.  | While the majority have since returned home or been accounted for, cops say many are regular runaways who will likely vanish again. 

They say the rate of children going missing and running away in 2023 is unusually high.  

In 2022, Ohio had nearly double the number of runaways than states like Georgia, North Carolina and Illinois, all of which have populations of between 10million and 12million. 
 According to the Ohio Attorney General's office, there are now over 45 missing minors in the greater Cleveland area. All have been reported as missing since September 1. They join the total number of 1,072 kids who have been reported missing by their loved ones in the area since the start of the year. 

While police say most are likely runaways, they are struggling to keep up with the demand of anxious parents wanting to find their kids.

A small plane with four occupants fell on La Amistad avenue in Panama City on Monday afternoon, with no fatalities, reported the country’s Civil Aviation Authority.

The aircraft was flying from the Guna Yala region, in eastern Panama, with the pilot and three officials from the Ministry of Health, who are part of that institution’s nursing team, the regional director of the ministry in Guna Yala explained to CNN, Wagayoguna Diaz.

The occupants have minor injuries and are out of danger, according to the health official.

It was not reported what caused this accident.

Díaz explained to CNN that the injured people were traveling back to their homes, after completing 20 working days in the region.
